Dragon Locations

Togashi’s Rest

In the Age of Emerald Stars, the Dragon remain the poorest of the Great Clans, and with their choice of planets, it’s not hard to see why. The Dragon care far less about resources or hospitality than any other clan, and Togashi’s Rest is the perfect example. An arctic world of towering peaks, deep icy ravines, and seemingly endless glaciers, Togashi’s Rest would’ve been an odd choice as the seat of a Great Clan – were that clan any other than the Dragon. Still, it serves their purposes well: in addition to beautiful vistas that heighten the senses for meditation, the Togashi use the relative privacy of their capital, the new High House of Light monastery, to avoid being disturbed as they get up to…well, whatever is the Togashi get up to.

Dragon’s Eye

The primary home of the Mirumoto, Kitsuki, and Tamori families is Dragon’s Eye, a small planet orbiting a binary star system on the eastern border of the Empire, near the mysterious, impassable Obsidian Nebula. It is here that the Mirumoto train their troops and the Tamori work on their secret research techniques to explore the nebula and the other strange, largely-uninhabited planets in the system – or at least that’s the rumor. No one from the other clans can confirm it, since by Imperial edict, no one other than the Dragon is allowed either on Dragon’s Eye or within the nebula itself without special permission. No, if they want to meet the Dragon, they must instead meet the clan of Togashi on Chairo no Machi.

Chairo no Machi

The forest moon around Dragon’s Eye is the only place outsiders may visit the Dragon without special permission from the clan itself. Known as Chairo no Machi for its brilliant, peculiarly multicolored sunsets, the world is the primary holding of the Tonbo family. For centuries, the Tonbo have served as the gatekeepers of the Dragon, and their role in modern times is much the same, representing the clan both in their home territory and in the intergalactic courts. But at least Chairo no Machi is nicer for guests than Kyuden Tonbo ever was.
