In the wake of the Yodotai War, the Senpet – which had been conquered barely a century before – once again became their own masters. Feeling a debt to Rokugan (and particularly to the Unicorn Clan with whom they shared a common history) and lacking much remaining infrastructure of their own, the Senpet became something of a client state to the Emerald Empire. It was no surprise when centuries later, the Senpet were the most eager participants in the Great Relocation, getting their pick of the allocated new worlds. Today, they maintain the strongest and most cordial relations with the Emerald Empire of any former nation from the world of Rokugan Prime. Emerald Empire travelers, particularly those of the Unicorn, are warmly welcomed to the world of Aziz al-Salaam even to this day.
